Visual review of accessible roof drainage, drainage routing, heat trace, and observable installation concerns that could contribute to ice buildup, drainage problems, or maintenance issues.
Functional review of accessible user-facing thermostats, lighting controls, smart switches, environmental controls, and integrated systems. Programming-level issues are coordinated with the installer or manufacturer when needed.
HFMG identifies accessible system and coordination concerns before or near turnover. Late-project reviews have limits, but can still help troubleshoot major issues and create a practical action list.
Review HVAC, plumbing, electrical, low-voltage, controls, and specialty systems before walls and ceilings are closed when HFMG is brought in early enough.
FLIR infrared review can help identify insulation inconsistencies, temperature anomalies, possible moisture indicators, airflow irregularities, radiant heating inconsistencies, and some electrical concerns.
HFMG does not provide certified radon testing, sewer scoping, invasive moisture testing, or laboratory environmental testing. Qualified specialists can be recommended when those services are needed.
Provide a commissioning-style owner or buyer review before turnover, purchase, or occupancy so unresolved system, quality, comfort, and finish concerns can be documented and addressed.
Test and verify accessible HVAC, controls, lighting, electrical, plumbing, radiant heat, snowmelt, fireplaces, domestic hot water, and other included systems where operational during the review.
Reports include photos, observations, explanations, prioritized recommendations, and warranty-ready documentation. Scope is customized to the home, systems, and level of review requested.
